Work Environment

As a full-time Physical Therapist, you will work onsite, with a predictable and structured schedule of Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide tailored treatment plans to each patient, addressing their unique goals, needs, and circumstances.
• Manage a diverse patient caseload effectively, ensuring high-quality attention to each individual person.
• Exhibit expertise in orthopedic outpatient care, utilizing your knowledge to guide treatment methodologies.
• Employ cost-effective treatment techniques to improve patient mobility, aiming for optimal outcomes with limited reliance on surgical interventions or medications.
• Collaborate closely with patients to create comprehensive care plans, integrating various therapeutic approaches and modalities.
• Conduct ongoing evaluations of treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans based on patient progress and feedback.
• Utilize EMR software, particularly WebPT, to ensure precise and comprehensive patient documentation, streamlining workflow efficiency.
• Engage patients with motivating fitness and wellness programs tailored to enhance their physical health.
• Maintain consistent communication and collaboration with other healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve a diverse group of patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal disorders. Our clientele ranges from active athletes seeking rehabilitation post-injury to older adults aiming to regain mobility and independence. Understanding each patient's individual needs and creating personalized rehabilitation plans will be crucial in your role, as we strive for the best possible outcomes and enhanced quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current, active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida without any history of sanctions.
• Strong foundation in various manual therapy techniques.
• Demonstrated ability in creating and implementing effective exercise programs.
• Proficient in using EMR software, especially WebPT, for accurate documentation and billing purposes.
• Exceptional knowledge of contemporary physical therapy practices and ongoing advancements in the field.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient clinic setting, particularly focused on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Background in sports medicine or specialized training in manual therapy techniques.
• Proven track record in fostering patient relationships and engagement throughout therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
