Work Environment

The successful candidate will operate in our modern outpatient office, spanning 5000 square feet of well-designed space. Here, an energetic and supportive atmosphere fosters collaboration among a team comprising two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Your work schedule will encompass a structured Monday to Friday routine from 9 am to 5 pm, promoting a work-life balance that allows for personal time while meeting our patients' needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and document each patient's needs and objectives through comprehensive evaluations.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing varied therapeutic modalities to enhance mobility and function.
• Guide 2 to 3 patients per hour, ensuring that each patient receives focused attention and treatment tailored to their specific situation.
• Incorporate evidence-based practices into all treatment regimens to ensure high-quality care.
• Encourage and inspire patients throughout their recovery journey, fostering a positive and motivating environment.
• Collaborate with other medical professionals to provide holistic care, syncing treatment plans with orthopedic specialists, if necessary.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed for optimal results.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care and collect data for ongoing analysis and refinement of treatment approaches.
• Educate patients about preventive measures and strategies to avoid recurrence of injuries.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve primarily include athletes and active individuals seeking rehabilitation after sports injuries, surgical procedures, or acute conditions. Each patient presents unique challenges, requiring a personalized approach that takes into account their physical capabilities and rehabilitation goals. Your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care will be vital in addressing these varied needs.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active state Physical Therapist license with no disciplinary actions.
• Strong manual therapy skills are essential for effective treatment.
• Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) software, such as WebPT, to streamline patient management.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in orthopedic outpatient care, demonstrating a history of successful patient outcomes.
• Experience in sports medicine is highly desirable, enabling you to understand and approach the recovery needs of athletes effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, based on your experience and qualifications.
