Key Responsibilities\n

Your role as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist will encompass a range of responsibilities intended to support patient well-being, including:

• Collaborating with other health professionals during case consultations to share expertise and enhance patient treatment outcomes.

• Adhering to all current federal and state laws, alongside our internal policies, to maintain compliance and uphold the integrity of our practice.

• Engaging in ongoing professional development through training opportunities and continuing education sessions to stay current with best practices in mental health care.

• Creating comprehensive discharge plans to support patient's transitions back into their communities and ongoing wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse spectrum of clients at Summerfield Mental and Wellness Center, including adolescents, adults, and families experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges. Your approach will need to be tailored to address the unique backgrounds, cultural contexts, and specific needs of your patients, ensuring a holistic and inclusive therapeutic experience that promotes healing.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that qualifies for licensure.

• Current licensure as a mental health therapist (LCPC, LCMFT, LCSW) in the state of Kansas.

Compensation and Benefits\n
