Queens Cove Behavioral Health Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist to join our team as a full-time therapist. This remote position offers the opportunity to provide essential mental health services to a diverse clientele while enjoying a supportive work-life balance with standard business hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate mood disorder symptoms, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, determining their severity, frequency, and impact on client functioning.

• Collaborate with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans that address specific mental health goals, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Provide ongoing therapeutic interventions and support, which may include developing coping strategies, enhancing emotional regulation skills, and facilitating mindfulness practices.

• Monitor client progress throughout the treatment process, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on clients' evolving needs and feedback.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to foster empowerment and understanding.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated care, facilitating open communication and shared decision-making.

• Stay abreast of the latest clinical research and advancements in mental health care to continuously enhance treatment approaches.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities to refine therapeutic skills and share insights with colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health therapist at Queens Cove, you will work primarily with clients experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression and anxiety-related conditions. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly those addressing mood disorders such as CBT and DBT.

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to work collaboratively with prescribing practitioners.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for rapport building with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• A proven history of successful outcomes in the treatment of mood disorders.

• Previous experience in a community health clinic or outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
