Job Description

Primary duties and responsibilities include:

• Programming, maintaining, and troubleshooting security systems installed throughout the WUSM Campus and interacting with hospital and Danforth Campus partners.
• Working with individual departments' leadership teams to establish and activate ID badges with the proper access levels and time zones.
• Monitoring security department practices, situations, and indicators to identify issues and opportunities to introduce security systems technology as a way to improve the overall level of service provided by the Protective Services Department.
• Partnering with BJH Access Control and other entities to solve access control issues.
• Performing changes to systems in programming for holidays, special events, campus closures, etc.
• Ability to move around campus as needed.
• Assumes oversight of the functions of the Physical Security Manager in his/her absence.
