Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of clients' mental health to develop individualized therapy strategies tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy, to deliver high-quality interventions.

• Facilitate individual, group, couples, and family therapy sessions, ensuring an open, safe, and supportive atmosphere for clients to express their thoughts and feelings.

• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients, enhancing treatment outcomes through shared expertise.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation, adhering to both legal and ethical standards of practice in mental health.

• Engage in continuous professional development and attend workshops to stay abreast of the latest research and trends in mental health care, enhancing overall service delivery.

Qualifications\n

• Certification and active, unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State.
