Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments and evaluations to understand clients’ mental health needs, ensuring the development of tailored treatment plans that effectively address their concerns.

• Utilize various evidence-based therapy modalities to provide individual, group, and family therapy, adapting your approach to fit the therapeutic needs of your clients.

• Work collaboratively with case managers, psychiatrists, and other mental health professionals, fostering a holistic approach to client care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to clients in acute distress, employing your clinical expertise to guide them through challenging situations.

• Lead community outreach initiatives and educational workshops aimed at promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma surrounding mental illness.

As a licensed therapist at Bellarine Counseling Center, you will serve a dynamic and diverse community in Las Vegas. This role involves addressing a wide range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship conflicts. Your ability to connect with clients from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds will enhance their therapeutic experience and improve treatment outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• An active, independent license as one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) , Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) , Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) , or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) .

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering therapeutic relationships with clients.
\n
• Demonstrated cultural competence and sensitivity, allowing you to work effectively with a diverse client population.
\n
• Strong organizational and time-management skills for timely documentation and client follow-up.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a telehealth environment or familiarity with teletherapy tools.

• Previous experience in community mental health settings or with diverse populations is highly valued.

• Knowledge of various therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT).

Compensation and Benefits\n
