Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate the trauma history of patients and identify suitable treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery and resilience-building, ensuring treatment is tailored to meet the specific needs of each patient.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to effectively address trauma.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions that help patients process their trauma experiences, learn coping strategies, and promote healing.

• Engage in collaborative treatment planning with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic, integrated care for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies or mental health crises.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to foster understanding and support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to enhance trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves individuals affected by trauma, spanning various age groups and backgrounds. Our patients often struggle with the long-lasting effects of trauma, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other mental health disorders. Your efforts will significantly impact these individuals, assisting them in navigating their experiences, building coping mechanisms, and fostering resilience. By providing a patient-centered approach, you will help empower each patient on their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW , LMHC , or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling is preferred.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-focused approaches.
\n
• Practical experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with relevant computer applications.

• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
