Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, forming the foundation for individualized treatment strategies.

• Collaboratively create tailored treatment plans with clients, aligning therapy goals with their unique preferences and life circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate meaningful healing and personal growth.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, associated treatment options, and essential self-care practices to promote ongoing mental wellness.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective care outcomes.

• Engage in collaborative care by partnering with psychiatrists and medical specialists when needed to holistically address client needs.

• Keep abreast of the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to continually refine therapeutic approaches.

This position specifically focuses on individuals coping with mood disorders such as anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. Qualifications\n

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
