Key Responsibilities\n

As a Virtual Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and clinical interviews with clients to determine their specific needs and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Providing therapeutic interventions through teletherapy to assist clients in overcoming challenges related to low self-esteem, addiction, family dynamics, and suicidal thoughts.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential records of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans using electronic health record systems.
\n
• Collaborating with the families of clients to observe behavioral changes and enhance the treatment process as necessary.

• Implementing crisis interventions and crisis management techniques when clients are in acute distress, ensuring safety and support.

• Referring clients to external services such as psychiatrists or substance use disorder specialists for additional assessments or interventions, when appropriate.

You will work with a wide range of clients, including those experiencing various mental health disorders, emotional difficulties, substance use disorders, and other behavioral challenges. Our diverse clientele includes individuals of different age groups and backgrounds, allowing you to engage in multifaceted therapeutic practices and to cater to the unique needs of each client.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

• A clean history with no medical malpractice claims, verified through a third-party service.
\n
• Authorization to work in the United States.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, the following experience is favorable:
