Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to understand and evaluate clients' mental health conditions, establishing their needs and treatment objectives.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic approaches alongside alternative methods, tailoring to unique patient needs.

• Provide a mix of counseling sessions— including individual, couples, family, and group therapy—via telehealth platforms, ensuring accessibility and convenience for clients.

• Maintain meticulous, up-to-date client records, documenting therapy sessions, progress notes, and treatment strategies to monitor client progress and optimize care delivery.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in workshops, training sessions, or supervision to refine therapeutic skills and expand your knowledge base.

• Facilitate or co-facilitate support groups that provide a safe space for clients to share experiences and feelings, helping them form connections and build resilience.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals and community resources, to ensure holistic care that addresses both mental and physical health needs.

• Adhere to all ethical and legal standards relevant to mental health practice, ensuring compliance in all client interactions and documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role specifically targets cancer patients at various stages of their journey, including diagnosis, treatment, recurrence, end-of-life care, and survivorship. You will navigate complex emotional landscapes, providing empathetic and culturally sensitive support. You will work closely with clients and their families to help them manage anxiety, depression, and stress associated with their medical circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

• No history of medical malpractice claims, verified by a third-party service.

• Authorization to work in the U.S.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $105,000 per year, adjusted based on your caseload and experience.
