Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a caseload of clients, building rapport and establishing positive therapeutic relationships while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conduct regular follow-up sessions to assess client progress, discuss stability, and plan for future appointments or discharges when appropriate.

• Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and goals.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and progress notes for each client, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Perform comprehensive intake assessments to gather essential information regarding each client's history and current mental health status.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote mental health and well-being.

• Engage in individual supervision sessions to foster professional growth and enhance clinical skills.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Tiny Steps, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including those dealing with various mental health challenges and substance use issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in mental health counseling or a closely related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York is essential.

• At least one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations.
