Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' mental health needs to develop individualized treatment plans that promote emotional and psychological well-being.

• Provide individual, group, and family counseling, utilizing evidence-based therapies tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Monitor and evaluate clients’ progress towards therapeutic goals, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective care.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including school counselors, psychologists, and external practitioners, to coordinate efforts in supporting the mental health of students.

• Deliver crisis intervention services to students and families experiencing acute stress or mental health crises, employing crisis management techniques to stabilize situations.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records of client interactions and treatment outcomes, adhering to state regulations and best practices in documentation.

• Stay informed about the latest research, techniques, and trends in mental health care to enhance service delivery and treatment efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on students facing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and difficulties stemming from life transitions such as parental divorce or grief. You will also work with families to strengthen their support systems, equipping them with resources and skills to promote mental wellness both at home and within the school environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid state license to practice clinical social work (LCSW).
