We specialize in treating patients with private medical insurance, allowing for a personalized approach to care that aligns with our patients' unique healthcare needs.

Work Environment

This position is full-time and primarily onsite. The work schedule typically runs Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured work-life balance. You will join a collaborative team of two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA) who share a commitment to fostering an environment of care, support, and continuous learning. The team atmosphere emphasizes effective communication and collaboration, ensuring that each member contributes to the best outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to recognize and fulfill the objectives and requirements of each patient.
• Manage a caseload of patients, ensuring a patient-focused approach by maintaining an individual treatment rate of one patient per hour.
• Implement cost-effective therapies designed specifically to enhance clients' range of motion, mobility, and overall physical function.
• Develop and administer comprehensive treatment plans that minimize reliance on medication and propose viable non-surgical intervention alternatives.
• Design customized fitness and wellness plans based on evidence-based practices, tailored to the specific needs of patients.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatment journey, helping them optimize their functionality.
• Partner with other healthcare professionals to ensure that all aspects of patient care are collectively addressed.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and monitor patient progress, maintaining effective communication at every stage of care.
• Document all patient interactions and interventions accurately to reflect the quality of services provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our practice is individuals with private medical insurance, emphasizing tailored and individualized therapy sessions. Patients vary widely in their conditions, ranging from post-operative rehabilitation to sports injuries and chronic pain management. Your expertise will play a significant role in guiding them through their recovery, helping to restore their quality of life and overall physical function.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Must hold a valid license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia with no records of board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design and implement effective exercise programs.
• Experience utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, to streamline documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly preferred.
• Ability to employ diverse therapeutic techniques that cater specifically to each patient's needs.

Compensation and Benefits
