Work Environment

The Physical Therapist role will be conducted onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center located in the vibrant city of Richmond, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, including reviewing medical histories and administering specific assessments to develop an individualized treatment plan.
• Effectively explain evaluation findings to patients and their families, ensuring they are engaged in the goals and objectives of their treatment.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to each patient's condition, adapting as needed based on ongoing evaluations and changes in the patient's health status.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, consulting as necessary and documenting any changes in the patient's condition that may require adjustments to the care plan.
• Manage comprehensive discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring continuity and quality of care through meticulous documentation of all patient interactions and treatment outcomes.
• Maintain effective time management skills and meet department productivity expectations while providing compassionate care.
• Participate in community outreach and hospital marketing initiatives, promoting the clinic and its services.
• Engage in continuous professional development and educational opportunities, serving as a mentor to students in clinical settings.
• Promote an exceptional patient experience by being adaptable and responsive to patient needs, actively working to remove barriers to access.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will primarily serve outpatient clients undergoing rehabilitation for a variety of conditions, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, chronic pain disorders, and mobility challenges due to other health issues. Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
