Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough assessments for adult clients, utilizing standardized measures and clinical interviews to identify mental health needs and formulate appropriate treatment strategies.

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions that promote personal growth and psychological resilience in clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on adult clients experiencing various mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to trauma and stress-related disorders. You will employ tailored therapeutic approaches suited to individual needs while maintaining a culturally competent practice that respects diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this exciting position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• Current licensure or license eligibility as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State.

• Active registration with a recognized professional body, along with adequate professional liability insurance.

• Strong competencies in administering clinical assessments, scoring results, and writing comprehensive reports for adult clients.
