Work Environment\n

Our remote work setting provides the flexibility necessary for you to deliver exceptional care while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and we recognize the need for flexibility in scheduling to meet the diverse needs of our patients. In your role, you will collaborate with a supportive and interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals, ensuring that comprehensive care is at the forefront of our efforts.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand the unique experiences of each patient and formulate individualized treatment plans that cater to their needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, tailoring your approach based on the patient’s cultural background and personal preferences.

• Provide individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy sessions focused on topics such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship dynamics.

• Collaborate with members of the multidisciplinary team to develop coordinated care strategies and ensure holistic treatment for patients.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention support to clients experiencing mental health emergencies, helping them navigate critical situations effectively.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, promoting awareness and understanding, and guiding them toward relevant community resources.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using our electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient record-keeping.

• Actively participate in professional development sessions, case conferences, and team meetings to continuously enhance our collective knowledge and practices in cultural competence.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• A deep understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and the principles of cultural competence in clinical practice.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy using culturally responsive practices, demonstrating a strong ability to connect with clients.
