Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in the enhancement of our patients’ mental health journeys. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to tailor treatment plans that effectively meet the needs of individual patients.

• Engaging in continuous communication with supervisors, care staff, families, and other stakeholders regarding patient progress and treatment plans.

• Developing a clear schedule for appointments, home visits, and therapy sessions to ensure consistency in patient care and monitoring.
\n
• Coordinating in-home visits as needed for assessments, observations, and gathering insights from patient environments.
\n
• Ensuring the effective implementation of therapeutic program plans and actively participating in interdisciplinary meetings to collaborate on patient care strategies.
\n
• Preparing detailed monthly and quarterly progress notes to track the evolution of each patient’s treatment.
\n
• Organizing training sessions for staff to ensure adherence to program methodologies and documentation standards.
\n
• Providing ongoing support through follow-up interviews and additional home visits to maintain effective therapeutic relationships.
\n
• Maintaining organized records to ensure vital information is accessible for all relevant parties.
\n
• Acting as a liaison between our clinic and the community to promote mental health resources and collaborative development goals.

• Contributing to the creation of innovative procedures and training materials geared towards enhancing service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPC will work closely with a wide-ranging patient demographic, including both youth and adults facing various mental health challenges. This includes, but is not limited to, issues related to trauma, substance misuse, and family dynamics. Your role will involve not only direct counseling but also advocacy for patients' needs in the larger healthcare context.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Possession of active and unrestricted professional licensing as a Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oregon.
\n
• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, ideally in a clinical setting.

• Knowledge of legal and ethical guidelines pertinent to counseling practices.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and trust with diverse clientele.

• Demonstrated capacity to work cooperatively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and other relevant technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialized training or experience in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use counseling.

• Strong familiarity with behavioral health resources available in the Bend, Oregon area.

• Experience in facilitating training programs or workshops aimed at enhancing team competencies in patient care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
