Embark on an impactful full-time contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting middle or high school students in the Houston area’s southwest side. This role delivers services in person and is open to both experienced SLPs and clinical fellows (CFYs). School assignments thoughtfully consider your home ZIP code. The contract runs from August 11, 2026, to May 26, 2027, with a consistent 37.5-hour workweek and a manageable caseload of 50–60 students, spanning grades 6–8 or 10–12 based on your preference.

What you’ll bring:

• Active Texas FL SLP license (include an image of your license with application)
• Experience or strong interest in school-based SLP services—open to both seasoned professionals and CFYs
• Comfort serving a diverse adolescent student population
• Ability to perform the full range of SLP responsibilities: direct therapy, ARD meeting participation, evaluations, or, if preferred, focus exclusively on clinical supervision
• Commitment to timely fingerprinting as required by district credentialing (essential even if prints may already be on file)
• Dedication to fostering productive relationships with students, families, and school staff

What you’ll do:

• Provide engaging and effective therapeutic interventions for middle or high school students
• Conduct comprehensive speech/language assessments and help develop IEP goals
• Participate in ARD committee meetings and contribute valuable insights to student support teams
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to all federal, state, and district regulations
• Supervise SLPA staff if desired, supporting their professional growth
