Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Anchor Therapy, you will:

• Deliver individual therapy sessions to adult clients experiencing a variety of emotional challenges, including anxiety, depression, and trauma, primarily from workplace injuries.

• Lead weekly psychoeducational classes designed to equip clients with coping strategies and knowledge about chronic pain.
\n
• Conduct initial assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for an active caseload, ensuring each client's unique needs are met.
\n
• Monitor and evaluate the clinical progress of clients within the Functional Restoration Program (FRP), providing brief therapy and guidance as necessary.
\n
• Implement clinical interventions based on evidence-based practices in pain psychology, focusing on the most effective methodologies for long-term healing.
\n
• Collaborate with medical and therapeutic team members to create a cohesive treatment experience, making appropriate referrals as needed.
\n
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in our EMR system while ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your caseload will primarily consist of individuals who have sustained injuries in the workplace, commonly presenting symptoms related to chronic pain, anxiety, and depressive disorders. You will utilize an integrated therapeutic approach, applying techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness to address the complex needs of this population.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active California License as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in clinical social work.
\n
• Proficiency in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and other therapeutic methodologies suited for patients with chronic pain conditions.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, allowing you to effectively connect with clients and multidisciplinary team members.

• Capacity to establish trust and rapport with patients and their families, demonstrating empathy and understanding in all interactions.

• A strong foundation in ethical decision-making abilities when faced with complex client scenarios.
