Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker focused on hospice care, your main responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial and ongoing comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate patients' social and emotional needs, tailoring treatment plans to individual situations.

• Providing psychotherapy using evidence-based interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), adjusted to the unique circumstances of each patient.

• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation that adheres to HIPAA regulations, ensuring privacy and confidentiality for all patient interactions.

• Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, share insights during case consultations, and implement comprehensive treatment strategies.

• Educating patients and their families on emotional health, coping strategies during end-of-life situations, and resources available in the community for additional support.

• Participating in regular professional development and peer review meetings to continuously enhance the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work predominantly with terminally ill patients and their families, assisting them in navigating complex emotional and psychological challenges. Your expertise will help address grief, anxiety, and depression as these families face end-of-life issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is essential for this role.

• A valid and active License to practice as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, particularly in hospice, palliative care, or a related mental health setting, is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 115,000 and 130,000 annually, including opportunities for performance-based bonuses.
