About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience License: Active Ohio RN License Certifications: BCLS and IV certification Must-Have: EPIC experience preferred Strong communication, critical thinking, and multitasking skills Travel experience is a plus Description: Provide patient care in a Progressive Care Unit on night shifts. Start and manage IVs. Administer medications safely. Monitor vital signs and patient responses. Educate patients on treatments and self-care. Collaborate with the care team on patient plans. Utilize EPIC EMR for charting. Float to lower acuity units as needed. Follow hospital policies to maintain patient safety. Be proactive in supporting patient care activities. Additional Responsibilities: Assist with special procedures and equipment management. Engage in interdisciplinary support for patient care. Contribute to maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients. Participate in ongoing education and training as needed. Emphasize patient-centered care in all interactions.
