Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and document client histories and treatment journeys from the initial consultation to completion of care.

• Assess clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health statuses, employing standardized tools and individualized assessments.
\n
• Design collaborative intervention and recovery plans tailored for individuals, couples, families, and group therapy sessions.
\n
• Implement and facilitate dynamic individual and group therapy sessions, adapting techniques and modalities to meet diverse client needs.
\n
• Track and monitor client progress throughout the treatment duration, adjusting plans as necessary to foster optimal recovery.
\n
• Engage in regular collaboration with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical staff, to ensure comprehensive care.

• Manage referrals effectively, coordinating care with external providers as needed to enhance client support.
\n
• Identify barriers to recovery, working alongside clients and their families to develop prevention strategies and ensure ongoing support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals and families from various backgrounds who are facing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• Successful passage of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor with a solid track record of client care.

Preferred Experience\n

• Proficient in using electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, for effective case management.

• Familiarity with the guidelines and best practices as per the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• In-depth understanding of physical and emotional health conditions, as well as addiction disorders, and their impact on therapeutic outcomes.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to foster trust and rapport with clients and their families.

• Empathetic listening and interpersonal skills that enhance client engagement and therapeutic success.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
