Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to create individualized treatment plans that address both pre-crisis and crisis situations, including risk assessments and positive behavior support plans.

• Complete necessary documentation competently and in a timely manner to comply with regulatory standards, ensuring the highest level of care.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement evidence-based strategies and interventions, including the use of screening tools recommended by the clinical team.

• Act as a liaison to various state agencies and community organizations to secure resources and promote our mental health initiatives.

• Communicate effectively with service systems to enhance overall patient care and meet program requirements.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, such as attendance at conferences and involvement in task forces, to stay current within the mental health field and advocate for our agency.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, including participation in accreditation processes and community outreach initiatives.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Shelby County Counseling Center, you will work with a varied client demographic, including individuals experiencing mental health disorders, those recovering from substance abuse, and clients with developmental disabilities. Qualifications\n
