Measurement Instruments is a manufacturers representative organization serving the Mid-Atlantic and Great Lakes regions, representing leading instrumentation principals and operating our own brands, DuroPC (rugged industrial PCs) and MITech. We’re growing our East territory team and looking for an organized, personable self-starter to join our Folsom, PA office.
## About the Role
This is a hybrid inside sales and office coordinator position — ideal for someone who’s eager to learn the technical side of industrial instrumentation and sales while keeping our office running smoothly day to day. You’ll work closely with our outside sales engineer, with real potential to grow into an outside sales role over time.
**Schedule:** Full-time, in-office, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM start
## What You’ll Do
**Sales Support**
- Follow up on DuroPC quotes and open orders to ensure customer satisfaction
- Support special projects: design, configuration, quoting, and assembly
- Assist with cold calling and setting appointments for outside sales
- Help manage schedules for large programs
**Marketing**
- Write technical articles for DuroPC
- Support DuroPC marketing efforts and social/professional media (LinkedIn)
- Help plan, set up, staff, and break down local trade shows
- Organize literature and demo equipment
**Office & Operations**
- Open the office each morning, receive packages, and manage outbound shipping
- Provide basic IT support (printers, scanners, networking, phones)
- File expense reports
- Make local deliveries (demo units, sold product)
- Assist with recruiting as needed
**Client & Travel Support**
- Travel with our sales engineer to learn the technology and markets
- Help entertain clients and support outside sales engagements
- Drive in support of sales engineer activities when needed
## What We’re Looking For
- Proficiency with Excel, Google Workspace, and Outlook (email/calendar)
- Strong technical aptitude and genuine eagerness to learn — including self-study
- Excellent communication skills and a knack for working with people
- An easygoing, kind, and gracious demeanor
- Willingness to take on new responsibilities as the role grows
## Compensation
Base salary plus a share of commission, commensurate with experience.
