A fantastic contract opportunity awaits a dedicated paraprofessional seeking a meaningful role supporting middle school learners in a resource classroom for the 2026-2027 school year. This position, conveniently located near Elk River, MN, offers a consistent weekday schedule and the chance to make a real impact in young students’ lives.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must meet one of the following:
- Completion of at least two years (60 semester credits) of college coursework from an accredited institution
- Associate degree or higher from an accredited college
- Passing score on an approved basic skills test (e.g., ParaPro Assessment or ParaEducator assessments)
- Strong commitment to supporting middle school students with diverse learning needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide academic and behavioral support in a middle school resource classroom
- Assist with implementing individualized education plans and classroom activities
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for student learning
- Collaborate proactively with classroom teachers and support staff
- Document student progress and provide feedback to the instructional team
This full-time, Monday-Friday role runs from 7:15 AM to 2:15 PM and extends through late May 2027. You’ll have the chance to contribute to the success of students in a vibrant educational community, gain hands-on experience, and develop valuable skills in a supportive contract setting.
