Key Qualifications:

• Must meet Minnesota’s Highly Qualified Paraprofessional standards by one of the following:
  • Passing the MN Para Educator Exam
  • Completion of at least 60 college credits (official transcript required)
• Experience working with elementary students preferred
• Willingness to assist with toileting and other personal needs as part of the support staff role
• Reliable, flexible, and committed to fostering a positive learning environment

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional support under teacher guidance, both in classrooms and small group settings
• Assist students with tasks, including academic, behavioral, and personal care as needed
• Adapt to the needs of various schools and student populations
• Maintain open communication with school staff and families
• Ensure students’ safety and encourage their participation in school activities
• Collaborate with teachers and professionals to help students succeed

Position Details:

• Begin approximately August 31, 2026, for a 90-day contract with potential transition to direct hire
• Monday through Friday, 32.5 hours per week
• Multiple elementary schools with open positions—indicate your site preference during application
• Hourly wage of $20, based on district guidelines
