Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing standardized assessments and detailed observational techniques.
• Craft individualized treatment strategies targeting immediate goals and enduring communication, cognitive, or swallowing concerns.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions emphasizing communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Work alongside physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and family members to engineer holistic care plans.
• Facilitate education for patients and families to foster progress beyond clinical appointments.
• Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions to ensure seamless care throughout the healing process.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Remain engaged with the latest advancements in the field through ongoing education and collaboration with peers.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.
