Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations for patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric age groups utilizing comprehensive assessments and observational techniques.
• Design individualized treatment plans to target immediate needs and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
• Provide tailored speech therapy sessions emphasizing language, fluency, voice, and swallowing skills.
• Work collaboratively with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to forge holistic care plans.
• Empower patients and families with educational resources to facilitate progress beyond clinical sessions.
• Assist in delivering inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions to ensure seamless continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate and prompt documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of advances in the speech pathology realm.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within your first 30 days of employment.
