Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you will:

• Direct and implement physical therapy treatments aimed at preventing disability and relieving pain.
• Evaluate patients through comprehensive assessments, utilizing diagnostic tools to understand muscle, nerve, joint function, and overall capabilities.
• Design individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Supervise and guide Physical Therapy Assistants in executing therapeutic staff interventions effectively.
• Evaluate the home environment and provide recommendations that promote independence and safety for patients.
• Administer manual therapy techniques and prescribed therapeutic exercises while motivating clients to engage actively in their rehabilitation.
• Document patient progress meticulously including evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries to ensure the quality of clinical records.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and refine care plans, attending case conferences to enhance treatment approaches.
• Maintain open lines of communication with patients and their families, providing education on treatment modalities and self-care strategies.
• Fulfill administrative duties such as submitting timely documentation in alignment with branch protocols and state regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of your work will be with adults, seniors, and patients recovering from surgery or managing chronic illnesses. You will provide compassionate care, emphasizing the importance of patient engagement and independence. Qualifications

We seek a candidate who possesses:
- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) and a valid state license to practice.

- Current CPR certification and valid driver's license with automobile insurance.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative work ethic.

Preferred Experience

While we require a minimum of two years of related experience in a physical therapy setting, candidates with experience in home healthcare or acute care will be prioritized. Compensation and Benefits
