As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at an educational location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 11:45 AM - 06:15 PM Tue: 11:45 AM - 06:15 PM Wed: 11:45 AM - 06:15 PM Thur: 11:45 AM - 06:15 PM Fri: 11:45 AM - 06:15 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and community members while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and observe campus activity, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy concerns to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
