Job Description As a Security Officer Lobby Patrol in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and document observations using computer or tablet technology. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.60 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur03:00 PM - 11:30 PMFri03:00 PM - 11:30 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:30 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access to the property, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report unusual conditions or policy violations in accordance with site procedures. Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating professionally with site management and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
