Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that take into account each patient's unique medical and psychological conditions, thereby allowing for individualized care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to support individuals facing complex mental health challenges, particularly those with co-occurring medical conditions. Our patients often seek assistance navigating their psychological struggles while managing their medical needs, making empathy, patience, and understanding essential qualities for success in this position.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R, Licensed Psychoanalyst, Psychologist, or LMFT within the state of New York.

• Proven skills in working with clients with co-occurring medical and mental health conditions.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive relationships with clients and colleagues.

• Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and adherence to ethical guidelines while safeguarding patient confidentiality.

Compensation and Benefits\n
