Director, Product Management

Role Description

Product Management at Capital One is a booming, vibrant craft that requires reimagining the status quo, finding value creation opportunities, and driving innovative and sustainable customer experiences through technology. As the Director of Product Management, you will champion the strategy, development, and delivery of next-generation enterprise products for Capital One Software.

• Develop and implement new product and pricing strategies for various lending products; lead product level data modeling/analytics.
• Manage and sequence delivery of business intent, build business requirements and execute against the product strategy. Oversee multiple projects and programs concurrently.
• Work closely with colleagues across Capital One including IT, Sales, Operations, Finance and others to drive improvement in quality, volume, service, and profitability.
• A proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics.
• Ability to build and leverage the capabilities of a high-performing team, as well as business partners across the enterprise.
• Impeccable written and oral communication credentials, coupled with strategic influencing skills.
• Display an intense focus on achieving both short and long term goals.
• Successful track record of thriving in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field and 5 years of Product Management experience.
• Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products.
• A Master's Degree in a quantitative field or an MBA with a quantitative concentration.
• 2+ years of experience in Financial Services, Banking, or FinTech sectors.
• 1+ years of experience in Management Consulting.
• 10+ years of experience in Product Management in Data Management or Data Protection.
• Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale enterprise B2B software or platforms.
