Work Environment\n

This full-time position is designed for a remote work setting, allowing professionals to deliver impactful mental health services from the comfort of their homes or office settings. Our normal operational hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient requirements. Our remote work culture emphasizes a collaborative atmosphere through virtual team meetings and consultations, aiding in maintaining strong communication and support among our staff.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs and treatment goals of individuals seeking assistance with substance use disorders, ensuring an empathetic and thorough approach.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy.

• Offer individual counseling sessions and lead group therapy sessions, fostering engagement and providing a safe space for patients to share their experiences.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, addiction medicine specialists, and other healthcare professionals within our multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic, coordinated care.

• Provide crisis intervention services, promptly responding to substance-related emergencies and offering support as needed.

• Educate patients and their families about addiction, available resources, and strategies to navigate the recovery process effectively.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with legal standards, ethical guidelines, and organizational policies.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case discussions, and continuing education opportunities to enhance professional development and share best practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in substance use disorder treatment, integrating new knowledge into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The individuals you will be working with often experience the complex challenges associated with substance use disorders, which can include mental health co-morbidities. Our patients come from diverse backgrounds, and your role is to provide them with tailored therapeutic interventions aimed at promoting recovery, enhancing resilience, and achieving sustainable lifestyle changes.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.

• Demonstrable knowledge of substance use disorders, evidence-based treatment methods, and recovery-oriented care principles.

• Experience in providing individual and group therapy specifically within the field of addiction treatment.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, maintaining a non-judgmental and empathetic demeanor while working with clients.

• Ability to uphold professional boundaries, adhere to ethical standards, and guarantee patient confidentiality.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant software applications.
\n
• Collaboration skills, including the ability to work seamlessly within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of one year of direct experience in a mental health counseling role focusing on substance use disorders will be highly regarded. Familiarity with evidence-based practices and treatment modalities specific to addiction is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 per year, along with additional bonuses and a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
