This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to engage with patients from the comfort of your own home while maintaining a work-life balance. Our clinic operates Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with some evening shifts as needed based on our patients’ requirements. You will have access to modern tools and technologies, including electronic health record (EHR) systems, to streamline your workflow and enhance patient interaction.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their needs and establish individualized treatment goals.

• Create detailed, actionable treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Facilitate one-on-one counseling sessions, utilizing motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy approaches tailored to the unique circumstances of each patient.

• Lead group therapy sessions that provide a supportive environment for clients to discuss their experiences and challenges—promoting peer support and communal learning.

• Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to deliver multidisciplinary care that addresses all aspects of a patient’s recovery.

• Provide crisis intervention services to patients experiencing acute distress, ensuring immediate support is available.

• Educate both patients and their families on addiction issues, recovery strategies, and community resources available for additional support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records to comply with legal and ethical standards of practice.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations, offering insights and feedback to improve our treatment offerings.

• Stay current on the latest research and advancements in the field of substance use disorder treatment to enhance clinical practice.

You will be working with a diverse population of individuals who are navigating the challenges of substance use disorders. Our patients come from various backgrounds and experiences, facing unique struggles in their journey toward recovery. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Demonstrated knowledge of substance use disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy in addiction treatment settings.

• Exceptional communication skills and a strong capacity for empathy, creating a judgment-free environment for clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, supplemented by performance-based bonuses. Additionally, a sign-on bonus is available for the right candidate.
