We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team at Relationship Behavioral Health Services. This role will be performed remotely, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance while maintaining a high standard of care. However, the LMHC will engage actively with our interdisciplinary Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT), which includes psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care delivery. As a virtual practice, strong digital communication skills and comfort with technology are essential for effective service delivery. Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive intakes and psychological assessments, identifying client needs and appropriate interventions. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices tailored to clients' specific mental health challenges. Utilize the current Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM) of Mental Disorders to formulate goals and treatment applications. Deliver individual and group therapy sessions that are sensitive to multicultural and diverse backgrounds, employing interventions that focus on personal growth and wellness. Maintain detailed and timely clinical documentation, using electronic record-keeping systems and telehealth software to manage patient information efficiently. Collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team, contributing insights regarding patient progress and tailoring counseling strategies for maximal efficacy. Remain informed about ethical codes and regulations governing mental health practices, ensuring compliance in all counseling activities. Participate in regular professional development and training to stay current with advancements in mental health treatment methodologies. Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary clientele for this role includes veterans and their families, many of whom present with complex mental health issues stemming from trauma, stress, and behavioral health challenges. The LMHC will be instrumental in improving the quality of interventions that the clients receive, thereby enhancing their overall quality of life and integration into community resources. Qualifications

A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field. Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida. Capacity to meet internal credentialing requirements within relevant clinical settings. A minimum of one year of professional experience working with psychiatric patients or individuals struggling with substance abuse. Experience in conducting assessments, writing diagnoses, and facilitating both individual and group therapy. Proficient in using various computer applications and telehealth platforms, with basic keyboarding skills. Preferred Experience

Experience working with veteran populations or an understanding of military culture. Demonstrated ability to create inclusive and safe spaces for clients from various cultural backgrounds. Knowledge of screening and assessment tools relevant to mental health. Familiarity with integrating mental health and primary care services. Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 60,000 to 95,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
