Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while still being an integral part of our dynamic team. Our detox center is designed for individuals in need of recovery support, and your contributions will have direct implications on health outcomes during their critical early stages.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker at Mindful Walkway, you will undertake a variety of key responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify needs and develop treatment strategies for children and their families.
• Actively participating in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring goals are tailored to each child's unique development trajectory.
• Monitoring treatment outcomes and adjusting services as necessary to align with the needs of children and families.
• Building trusting relationships with children and their families to foster a supportive environment conducive to learning and growth.
• Educating families on strategies and techniques that can enhance their children's developmental progress, using evidence-based practices.
• Utilizing coaching models and strategies grounded in Natural Learning Environment Practices to maximize engagement.
• Adhering to all relevant federal and state regulations to ensure the highest standards of practice and ethical conduct.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on infants and toddlers, especially those experiencing disabilities or developmental delays. In your role, you will be instrumental in guiding families through early intervention processes, helping them recognize and facilitate their child's growth across physical, cognitive, social-emotional, and communication domains. Working within a holistic framework, you'll ensure services cater to both the child's developmental needs and the family's priorities.

Qualifications

To excel in this position, you should possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) by the Department of Public Health in Washington State.
• A valid driver's license to conduct home visits or community-based assessments.
• Confidence in adapting therapeutic approaches and learning styles to meet each child's and family's unique needs.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and time management skills that enable effective collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team.
• A commitment to fostering a respectful and inclusive atmosphere.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experience will be advantageous:

• A minimum of one year working directly with children and families in an early intervention setting.
• Familiarity with Natural Learning Environment Practices.
• Bilingual proficiency, which can enhance communication and accessibility for diverse families.

Compensation and Benefits
