Salary: $65,000–$80,000 + Comprehensive Benefits
If you thrive on the energy of executing flawless weddings, galas, and large-scale events, this is an outstanding opportunity to join a well-established upscale hospitality property known for exceptional banquet experiences.
We're seeking a hands-on Banquet Chef who enjoys leading from the front, developing talented culinary teams, and delivering consistently outstanding food for high-volume events. You'll play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences while working alongside a collaborative leadership team that values quality, organization, and creativity.
What You'll Do
- Lead all banquet kitchen operations for weddings, corporate functions, and private events
- Execute high-volume service while maintaining exceptional food quality and presentation
- Hire, train, coach, and develop a strong culinary team
- Partner with sales and event teams to create customized menus and execute special requests
- Manage food preparation, production timelines, and event execution from start to finish
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and kitchen organization to the highest standards
- Assist with inventory, ordering, labor management, and cost controls
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Banquet Chef, Executive Sous Chef, or senior culinary leader in a high-volume banquet or event-driven operation
- Proven ability to lead teams through multiple events and large guest counts
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Knowledge of food cost management, labor planning, and kitchen operations
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
Compensation & Benefits
