CGP: Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant Los Angeles, CA – Contract to Hire Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $40.00 to $45.00 per hour. Job Responsibilities Support period end close activities by preparing journal entries and reviewing supporting schedules. Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts, including inventory, accruals, and fixed assets. Analyze account activity and assist with proper classification of expenses and transactions. Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Assist with maintaining general ledger integrity and resolving discrepancies as needed. Requirements 2+ years of general ledger accounting experience in a corporate environment. Previous experience working in inventory‑driven or consumer products environments. Strong background in reconciliations and period end close processes. Ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines. Familiarity with accounting systems and standard financial reporting tools. Qualifications Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments. Clear written and verbal communication skills when working across teams.
