Key Responsibilities\n

• Actively engage in clinical consultations and interdisciplinary co-learning opportunities, contributing insightful strategies to enhance client care.

• Ensure timely completion of all clinical documentation and maintain compliance with organizational policies, enabling clear communication with healthcare teams.
\n
• Deliver direct mental health services, including behavioral health assessments, counseling tailored to the needs of clients, and effective case management.
\n
• Consult with members of the prenatal care team, including medical providers and midwives, to ensure integrated, quality care for clients.
\n
• Facilitate childbirth education and postpartum peer support groups alongside birth workers, enriching the experience of birthing families.
\n
• Participate actively in community engagement initiatives aimed at promoting holistic wellness and fostering a supportive community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves Black birthing families, emphasizing culturally sensitive care and support for their unique experiences. By fostering strong relationships with clients, you will play a pivotal role in addressing the specific mental health challenges faced by this demographic. Your work will involve not only direct counseling but also collaboration with various community professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited institution.
\n
• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

• Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of clients and multidisciplinary team members.

• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently, seek assistance when needed, and manage a full caseload.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience providing telehealth services, particularly in a mental health context.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, our benefits package includes:
