Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations, review patient medical histories, and evaluate lab results to inform treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as blood tests, EKGs, echocardiograms, and X-rays to assist in accurate diagnoses.
• Diagnose and manage a range of cardiac conditions, developing tailored management plans according to best practices in cardiology.
• Prescribe medications as clinically indicated, monitor their effectiveness, and educate patients on potential side effects and outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous documentation and patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and enhancing care continuity.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing clear, compassionate explanations regarding diagnoses and management strategies.
• Deliver educational sessions to patients and families about cardiovascular health, preventive measures, and lifestyle modifications to promote overall wellness.
• Support the implementation of disease prevention initiatives aimed at reducing cardiovascular risk among diverse populations.
• Participate in clinical research and scholarly activities that contribute to the advancement of cardiology practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily includes adults suffering from various degrees of cardiovascular disease, including but not limited to hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant studies, with a Master's degree preferred.
• Valid New York State Physician Assistant license (PA-C) and DEA number.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant, preferably in a cardiology or relevant healthcare setting.
• Solid clinical expertise in primary care and chronic disease management.
• Strong understanding of cardiological health regulations and best practices.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The starting salary for this role ranges from USD 150,000 to 180,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
