Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including comprehensive reviews of medical history, thorough physical examinations, and necessary diagnostic evaluations to accurately diagnose various conditions.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans in close collaboration with supervising physicians, tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs of each patient, while striving for optimal health outcomes.
• Perform a variety of procedures and minor surgical interventions, such as suturing lacerations and draining abscesses, under the supervision of attending physicians and in accordance with established protocols.
• Educate patients and their families on medical conditions, treatment choices, and preventive health strategies to promote understanding and adherence to treatment plans.
• Maintain meticulous and current medical records, documenting patient encounters, treatment modalities employed, and plans for follow-up care in compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work as a Physician Assistant will focus on a diverse patient population that includes children, adults, and seniors requiring urgent care for a variety of acute health issues. Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program is required.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) is necessary for practice.
• Active state licensure as a Physician Assistant is required for employment.
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to prioritize and manage patient care independently and effectively within the scope of practice.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time Physician Assistant position offers a competitive salary ranging from $140,000 to $160,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
