Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized counseling services to clients, employing therapeutic techniques to address mental health concerns and enhance personal growth.

• Coordinate daily living assistance for clients, including meal planning, cooking support, and personal shopping, fostering their independence and skill development.

• Manage medication protocols, providing reminders, monitoring adherence, and ensuring timely refills, all while following prescribed guidelines for medication assistance.

• Facilitate transportation needs for clients, using agency and personal vehicles as necessary, and teaching effective public transportation options.

• Maintain organized documentation by timely updating client records, mileage reports, and compliance with legal and regulatory standards for mental health practices.

• Observe and report on clients’ general well-being, assisting them in practicing safety protocols and acting as a positive role model in their daily lives.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless care delivery, including sharing updates on client progress and challenges.

• Support clients in achieving their personal goals while ensuring their rights and dignity are upheld.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients represent a broad range of backgrounds and challenges, requiring tailored approaches in counseling. You will work with children, adolescents, and possibly their families, emphasizing culturally sensitive strategies that resonate with each client’s unique experiences and perspectives. The dynamic environment allows you to address a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and family dynamics.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in social work, clinical psychology, marriage and family therapy, or a related field is required.

• A valid and active LCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, or LMFT license in California is mandatory for this position; applications with an associate license will not be accepted.

• Strong computer proficiencies, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite, are essential to ensure effective documentation and communication.

• A self-motivated individual capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with a full caseload.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with geriatric populations is beneficial, though not required.

• Previous experience in outpatient mental health settings, particularly with diverse populations.
