Business Development Manager (Advanced Composites)

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Composites Development Manager with expertise in the aerospace, defense, and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, sales skills, and a strategic mindset to drive business growth.

Responsibilities

Tasks and goals for this role include:

Establish and maintain key relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry leaders in Advanced Composites.
Increase revenue through acquiring new customers and expanding with existing partners.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor actions to drive strategic decisions.
Work with teams to provide custom solutions for clients.
Negotiate deals with stakeholders to ensure profitability and long-term success.
Represent the company at events to build connections and awareness.
Report on business development progress and forecast future growth.
Collaborate with legal and management to create agreements that benefit all parties.
Support product development by providing insights and customer feedback.

Requirements

Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
Experience in advanced composites industry working with materials like SMC, BMC, epoxies, fiberglass, or carbon fiber
Proven sales track record in technical products
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Knowledge of sealants, adhesives, and composite market trends
Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Problem-solving skills and financial acumen
Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time
