Business Development Manager (Advanced Composites)

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Composites Development Manager with expertise in the aerospace, defense, and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, sales skills, and a strategic mindset to drive business growth.
Responsibilities
Tasks and goals for this role include:
- Establish and maintain key relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry leaders in Advanced Composites.
- Increase revenue through acquiring new customers and expanding with existing partners.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor actions to drive strategic decisions.
- Work with teams to provide custom solutions for clients.
- Negotiate deals with stakeholders to ensure profitability and long-term success.
- Represent the company at events to build connections and awareness.
- Report on business development progress and forecast future growth.
- Collaborate with legal and management to create agreements that benefit all parties.
- Support product development by providing insights and customer feedback.
Requirements
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Experience in advanced composites industry working with materials like SMC, BMC, epoxies, fiberglass, or carbon fiber
- Proven sales track record in technical products
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of sealants, adhesives, and composite market trends
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills and financial acumen
- Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time
