Work Environment

You will work onsite in our modern outpatient office in Cape Coral, where we prioritize a collaborative atmosphere conducive to teamwork and shared learning. Your work schedule will be primarily Monday to Friday, with potential weekend availability as needed to accommodate patients' needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Employ a variety of treatment modalities, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education to promote healing and function.
• Act as a pivotal member of the interdisciplinary care team, demonstrating leadership in patient care and advocating for best practices.
• Engage in ongoing communication with patients and their families to explain treatment goals and progress, ensuring a clear understanding of the care process.
• Participate in departmental initiatives that focuses on improving patient satisfaction, treatment effectiveness, and operational efficiency.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service, contributing positively to the workplace culture.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at TruSolutions Therapy Care, you will work predominantly with diverse patient populations who come to us for treatment of sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. Many of our patients are motivated athletes returning to their competitive routines, while others may include elderly clients seeking to improve their mobility and functional independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field with the relevant coursework.
• Current physical therapy license in the State of Florida.
• Active CPR certification at the time of hire.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to empathize with patients and families.
• Strong organizational abilities and effective communication skills.
• Proficient in basic computer skills for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Two years of experience as a practicing Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with electronic health records systems is a plus, enhancing productivity and communication.
• Proficiency in a variety of therapy techniques and modalities.
• Ability to multitask and remain effective in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Compensation and Benefits
