About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant/Associate Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness to provide strategic leadership and oversight of the University's comprehensive institutional effectiveness framework. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the alignment of institutional planning, academic and administrative assessment, and data-informed decision-making with the University's mission and strategic priorities. This role involves leading accreditation processes, overseeing institutional assessment, and promoting a culture of evidence, accountability, and continuous improvement. The AVP will also be tasked with integrating strategic planning, budgeting, and assessment processes, as well as maintaining institutional data governance practices. Applicants for the AVP position at the company should hold a doctoral degree in a relevant field and have a minimum of 5-7 years' of experience in institutional effectiveness, institutional research, accreditation, or a related area within higher education. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SACSCOC accreditation, data analytics, and reporting, and proven leadership and supervisory experience. Preferred qualifications include experience at a small private institution or HBCU, proficiency with data visualization tools, and a background in integrating assessment with strategic planning and budgeting. The role requires a candidate with excellent communication skills, the ability to collaborate effectively, and a high level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality.
