Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing therapists to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of their chosen environment, thereby fostering a flexible work-life balance. Telehealth technology enables our team to reach clients across Paterson, New Jersey, and beyond, making mental health services accessible to underserved populations. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient demands, ensuring that therapists can maintain a structured yet adaptable workflow.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, utilizing standardized tools and personal interviews to identify patients' needs and establish individualized treatment strategies.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused techniques, while adapting methods to meet clients' diverse backgrounds.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that foster community and address common mental health issues collaboratively.

• Engage in effective collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services, including assessing risk and creating safety plans for clients experiencing acute mental health challenges.

• Equip patients with knowledge regarding their mental health conditions, the spectrum of treatment options available, and community resources that can assist their recovery process.

• Maintain meticulous records of client sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with ethical and legal standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems proficiently.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.

• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and developing effective treatment plans, with a strong foundation in evidence-based approaches.

• Experience delivering therapy to individuals and groups across diverse populations is highly preferred.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that foster rapport with clients, their families, and interdisciplinary team members.

• Commitment to professional ethics, sound judgment, and the maintenance of professional boundaries in a therapeutic setting.

• Competency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and related technological tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n
