Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, providing you with the flexibility to work from home while still being an integral part of our collaborative team. While our core working hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, occasional evening and weekend shifts may be required as part of our commitment to meeting the varied needs of our clients. Your workspace will be equipped with necessary digital tools and platforms to facilitate seamless communication, client assessments, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate symptoms of mood disorders, utilizing standardized assessment tools and interviewing techniques to ensure accurate diagnosis.

• Collaborate with clients to co-create individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs, counseling goals, and personal preferences.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support clients in managing their mood disorders.

• Provide education to clients and their families about mood disorders, including symptoms, treatment options, and practical self-care strategies.

• Consistently monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring an adaptive approach to healing.

• Engage in collaborative care by working closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, fostering a holistic approach to client health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT within the state of New York.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Sound understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to collaborate with psychiatrists to optimize patient care.

• Commitment to ethical practices and confidentiality in client interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure clinical experience specializing in the treatment of mood disorders.
