Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your core responsibilities include:

• Delivering high-quality clinical services through virtual platforms, including video sessions and online support groups.

• Crafting and executing individualized treatment plans that are tailored to each client's recovery process.

• Regularly evaluating clients' treatment needs to adjust care strategies and interventions as necessary.

• Guiding clients in developing essential coping strategies, problem-solving techniques, and effective communication skills.

• Educating clients regarding available community resources and acting as a supportive advocate to connect them with these services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on adult clients 18 years and older, many of whom may experience challenges that hinder their ability to maintain stability in their lives due to various mental health conditions. You will work with individuals to foster recovery, enhance independence, and promote overall wellbeing, using a tailored, strengths-based approach.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• A valid license from the California state board, including any of the following:

• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
\n
• Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
\n
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
\n
• Licensed Psychologist (PsyD)
\n
\n
• Capacity to provide independent clinical services without supervision.
\n
• A clean disciplinary record with no pending actions against your license.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with and motivate clients.

• Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for telehealth services.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experiences would be highly beneficial:

• Demonstrated success in providing direct mental health services, particularly in an online or telehealth environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Moody Mental and Wellness Center offers a competitive compensation package, with a salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 per year. In addition to attractive pay, we provide:
